Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has issued crucial security guidelines for its upcoming rally in Islamabad. According to a PTI leader, the party has instructed its supporters to avoid using weapons under any circumstances and to keep a vigilant eye on suspicious individuals. Local officials have also been directed to monitor the crowds closely and immediately detain any suspicious persons.
Preparations for the rally in Sangjani are complete, with the stage and seating arrangements in place. However, authorities have blocked all major roads connecting Islamabad and Rawalpindi with containers and barriers to prevent any disruption.
In response to the rally, Islamabad’s district administration has heightened security measures, deploying containers to various locations to maintain order. Additionally, the Metro Bus Service near the rally site has been fully suspended.
Furthermore, as part of the security measures, all hotels, shops, and guesthouses in Sangjani will be closed from September 7 to 9. Police have issued orders prohibiting any provision of accommodation, food, or other services near the rally site, with legal action to be taken against any violations.
